ASM Traffic Processing Daemon (bd)

The bd daemon handles traffic processing in ASM:

• It immediately loads configuration and allocates initial buffers.

• The memory usage increases as traffic throughput increases but stabilizes after some time.

• The memory does not release back to the OS after stabilization for performance reasons.

• If memory usage continues to increase linearly, this could indicate an issue, and further investigation is needed.
