ASM - Virtual Edition (VE) Tips

he ASM Virtual Edition offers flexibility and scalability for application security in virtualized environments.

  • SSL-TPS Limitation:

    • Previously, there was a limitation of 500 SSL TPS per 2048-bit keys for each vCPU allocated to the VE. However, this limitation has been removed, as indicated by F5's article: K18290319.

  • vCPU Allocation:

    • Depending on your license, you can allocate up to 8, 16, or 24 vCPUs to the VE.

  • Memory:

    • There is no memory limitation in ASM Virtual Edition.

  • Disk Size:

    • The maximum allowed disk size is 1.9 TB.
